Have you seen a rainbow, perhaps a double rainbow? Then you have experienced natural wonderment, colors in full glory! Shifting to more earthly representations of a rainbow, we saw the ROYGBIV rainbow at the Tucson Gem Show. ROYGBIV, I learned this from my Mother as a young child, the colors of the rainbow: RED ORANGE YELLOW GREEN BLUE INDIGO VIOLET.
At the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, we saw ROYGBIV:
- Red - Red Ruby
- Orange - Citrine
- Yellow - Citrine
- Green - Emerald and Malachite
- Blue - Aquamarine or Blue Topaz
- Indigo - Lapis Lazuli
- Violet - Amethyst or Tanzanite
